A Stylish 4th of July

4th of July

Can you believe that 4th of July is this week? Of course you’ve already made fabulous plans for the national holiday – but more importantly (if you’re like me), have already figured out what you’re going to wear!

I typically stay away from purchasing obvious 4th of July pieces (you know, a shirt with the American flag on it, or shorts with stars or stripes printed on the denim etc.). Instead, I prefer focusing on unique pieces to stylize and contribute to my outfit as a whole. If you’re still looking for an ideal outfit for the holiday, here are some pieces I suggest you check out.

Wildfox Couture’s U.S.A tank is the perfect staple piece to work around your 4th of July outfit. I especially love wearing a tank with a basic pair of denim shorts, and then adding fun accessories to complete the entire look. To add some sparkle, this Kacey K necklace is a great piece because the star pendant is the perfect way to incorporate a little part of our country’s flag. To add a little edge to your outfit, I recommend checking out these earrings from one of my favorite designers, Lionette NY, and also rocking a pair of Christian Louboutin sandal wedges. Lastly, I do find it’s important to give in (just a little bit) to some cheesiness into the holiday, so I couldn’t resist recommending these aviators from Forever 21 to pull together the entire look.

I’m so excited to spend the day BBQ-ing with family and friends, getting some much-needed-sunshine and watching fireworks in the evening. How are you spending the holiday?

Happy 4th of July!
