Jewelry Pieces for Summer

Jewelry - Obsessed

I’m horrible at proactively seeking jewelry, but when I do stumble across a must-have piece, I fall in love with it and then wear that piece diligently for months.

I recently stumbled across these opal earrings from Sheer Addiction Jewelry and knew that these earrings were going to be my new favorite summer piece. I love the simplistic beauty in these earrings, especially with the contrast between the opal Swar, ovski crystals and antique silver setting, making the opal color really pop.

I love this Alexis Bittar necklace (available at SHOPBOP) because it has everything I look for in a necklace. I prefer gold necklaces that can be worn with a variety of outfits and tend to look for basic silhouettes (but if a necklace has more intricate details, I prefer that it have neutral accented colors like black, white, grey, or navy).

If you’re looking to make a statement, these Green Gemstone Dangle Earrings from Sheinside certainly make a positive one!

I love knuckle rings. Once again, I look for subtle ways for jewelry to make a statement and believe knuckle rings do just that. I recently purchased a chevron knuckle ring from Urban Outfitters (and wear it everyday), so I believe that these thin rings from Uncovet may be my next investment!

Satomi Kawakita, a New York City-based jewelry designer and professional diamond setter, likes to create impeccable pieces with unique natural gems, minerals and metals – exactly what her black diamond eternity band encompasses. Instead of a normal diamond band, this intricately beautiful ring can add an edge to any outfit.
